KW's scheduled Friday group was fortunate to have a cooking session with Belle on Friday. We learned about puff pastry (did you know it has up to 28 layers in it?!), cut slits into our square of puff pastry, folded the corners, then turned the corners under and pinched them. This made our flower. We then added a frozen raspberry to the middle and viola - a flower! Belle cooked our pastry flowers in the oven and sprinkled them with icing sugar.... We enjoyed eating one at school and we hope you enjoyed the one sent home!
